Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available to support K-12 students in a North Carolina school district. The role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to elementary and middle school students within an onsite school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services to students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as a school-based SLP serving K-12 populations
- Strong skills in pediatric speech and language therapy
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Location and Schedule:
- Position is located in Mooresville, North Carolina
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration from ASAP through May 29, 2026
- Onsite services only; remote work is not available
